Description

Quality 8″ knife hand file in a smooth cut coarseness.  Pattern files come in 3 grades of coarseness. They are from most coarse to least, Bastard, 2nd Cut, and Smooth. While the coarseness of a file is determined by the size of the teeth, the actual size of the teeth vary with the length of the file. In other words, a 4″ Bastard and a 14″ Bastard are the coarsest version, however the teeth on the 4″ file are much smaller than the teeth on the 14″ file.  Nicholson, made in USA.  This file is used but in like new condion.  Clean, sharp and ready to go to work.
